Why Now
Roblox entertains tens of millions of children every day. But concerns about online safety - from inappropriate content to predatory behavior - continue to make headlines. Lawsuits, regulatory scrutiny, and growing calls for stronger protections highlight a critical need: tools at every level to empower parents, developers, and communities.
Traditional online safety education happens in classrooms or at home, far from where kids actually face these situations. TrustGames changes that by meeting kids where they already are- inside the games they love.
Our free plugin gives Roblox game creators a simple, one-click way to display age-appropriate safety tips during gameplay - teaching kids about spotting scams, safe chatting, privacy basics, and more. It creates a layer of accountability and education that no single platform can fully provide on its own.
With developers and community participating directly in promoting safe online behavior, we can create a virtuous cycle of safety and trust that sends the message that safety is a shared responsibility.
Who We Are
TrustGames is built by the BLOXX team - co-founded by Dave Young and Kevin Thompson. As two fathers, the need to protect children online is deeply personal.

Inspired by Community Notes - where multiple independent people must agree before a label is shown - our trust scores work the same way. Players, parents, and reviewers submit and verify safety assessments, creating reliable ratings without central control.

We will share our post-pilot impact numbers openly so parents, educators, and donors can see exactly what TrustGames is achieving.
Free for Everyone
The TrustConnect plugin is and always will be free for game creators and players. Child safety shouldn't have a price tag.
